Emaar Properties recently
showed its solidarity with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by participating in UAE
Flag Day at the Dubai Opera.
The event celebrated efforts
made by the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum to showcase colossal achievements made by the UAE.
Emaar saluted UAE
leadership, including President Khalifa Al Nahyan; Mohammed Al Maktoum, vice president and ruler of Dubai; and the Supreme Council.
The flag was hoisted at
Emaar’s Dubai Opera at 11 a.m. on Flag Day in an event attended by Emaar’s
senior management and the company’s Emirati workforce.
Emaar chose the Dubai Opera
for the ceremony because the facility fits with this year’s Flag Day theme: “Raise
It High … Raise It Proud.” The opera’s architectural design was inspired by the
nation’s proud heritage.
