Banking group Emirates NBD, based in Dubai, was the leading sponsor for the UAE Drones for Good Award ceremony and event recently held in Dubai to celebrate partnerships that support novel innovations in the advanced technology industry.

The event involved 20 teams from throughout the world. The partnerships and networks that were developed as a result of organizing this event shows that there are leading national financial institutes that are interested in helping technology and its innovations.

“The partnership comes as part of concerted efforts between the government and banking sectors in UAE to support the efforts to provide smart services that rely on modern technologies and optimal investment in technology to achieve the highest customer satisfaction rates and happiness,” Saif Al Aleeli, CEO of Dubai Museum of the Future Foundation and coordinator general of the UAE Drones for Good Award, said. “The partnership reflects the important role of Emirates NBD , as a leading national bank, in supporting innovation in the UAE, especially in the areas of advanced technology, which is expected attract investments worth billions of dollars in the coming years.”
