Emiri Decision No. 45 of 2016 was issued Oct. 11 by Emir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani to complete the transfer of extraordinary
and absolute ambassadors to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
  
Under the Emiri decision, the following ambassadors are
transferred: Abdulrahman Al Khulaifi, ambassador
extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the federal republic of Germany; Adel Fakhroo, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the republic of Portugal; Ibrahim Al Abdullah, ambassador
extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the republic of Kenya; Ali Al-Thani, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary
to the kingdom of Belgium; Saad Al Kubaisi, ambassador
extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Romania; and Salim Al
Jaber, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the republic of South
Africa.

In addition, the following ambassadors will also be
transferred: Abdulla Jaber, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to Hungary; Abdulrazak Al Abdulghani,
ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the kingdom of Spain; Abdullah Al Derbasti, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to the republic of Paraguay; Jassim Al-Thani, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the kingdom of Bahrain; Ali Al Mansouri, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to the republic of Austria; Abdullah Al
Humaidi, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Tunisian republic; Meshal Al-Thani, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to the French republic; Khalid Al Khater,
ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the kingdom of the Netherlands;
Mohammad Al Kuwari, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to the U.S.; Faisal Al Henzab, Qatar’s permanent representative to the United Nations Office in
Geneva; and Saud Al-Mahmoud, ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary to the Russian federation.

The Emiri decision
goes into effect immediately. Relevant information will be published in the
official gazette, as well.
