ADNOC is set to host the third ENACT Majlis in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, bringing together 100 leaders from energy, technology, investment, and government sectors. The event aims to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI), energy, and investment can be combined to develop solutions for sustainable growth and global prosperity.

The meeting is sponsored by ADNOC, Masdar, and XRG. It will take place ahead of ADIPEC, a major global energy industry event scheduled in Abu Dhabi from November 3-6.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, will host the gathering. He also serves as Chairman of Masdar and Executive Chairman of XRG. The discussions are intended to generate practical ideas on how the energy, technology, and finance sectors can support the future of AI in promoting economic growth.

According to Dr. Al Jaber: “Artificial intelligence is accelerating progress across every sector but it’s also driving a surge in energy demand. The ENACT Majlis will bring together leaders from energy, technology, policy, and finance to align efforts and ensure AI has the power it needs to thrive. At the same time, we must also unlock AI’s potential to boost energy efficiency and abundance – foundations for sustainable growth and global prosperity. This means investing in the core systems that will power the AI era: from scalable energy and advanced grids to high-efficiency AI infrastructure.”

Expected attendees include Doug Burgum, U.S. Secretary of the Interior; James Danly, Deputy Secretary of U.S. Department of Energy; Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy; Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for AI; Murray Auchincloss (BP); Claudio Descalzi (Eni); Ken Dillon (OXY); Patrick Pouyanné (TotalEnergies); Darren Woods (ExxonMobil); Takayuki Ueda (INPEX); Dong Sub Kim (Korea National Oil Corporation); Jason Liu (Wood Mackenzie); Brad Smith (Microsoft Corporation); Jake Loosararian (Gecko Robotics); Arthur Mensch (Mistral AI); Andrew Feldman (Cerebras Systems), Bruce Flatt (Brookfield Asset Management), Tony O. Elumelu (United Bank for Africa), Eric Cantor (Moelis) and Abdulla Al Jarwan (Abu Dhabi Department of Energy).

The ENACT Majlis follows an Emirati tradition of open discussion focused on solutions. Previous editions took place in Abu Dhabi in November 2024—where links between energy demand driven by AI were discussed—and in Washington DC in June with a focus on data center growth in the United States.
