German-engineered remote access solutions provider HOB has entered into a deal that gives Ethos Technologies the rights to distribute its security products throughout numerous Middle Eastern countries.

Under the agreement, the Dubai-based technology distribution company will be able to offer HOB products to clients in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Among those products will be a software-based, comprehensive security solution known as HOB RD VPN. It can be used by enterprises of all sizes and ensures secure communication through its certified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and diverse types of authentication. There is no need for installation as data can be securely accessed over the Internet. It features a variety of functions including clustering, compliance check and multi-tenancy capability.

HOB’s products fall in the categories of secure access, secure connectivity, secure administration or secure development.

“The partnership with HOB is an important step in our drive to become a value-added solutions distributor offering a variety of complimentary solutions that are unique to Ethos,” Ethos Technologies CEO Masood Mohammed said. “The distribution agreement covering the Middle East and Pakistan confirms our commit and strength towards our vendors in giving them a broad expansion to this region.”
