Etihad Airways presents awards to travel agents in Kuwait

Etihad Airways, the United Arab Emirates’ national airline, recently recognized top travel agents in Kuwait during an awards ceremony.

Among the awards was a special honor for the first agency to sell the airline’s premium package, “The Residence by Etihad,” in Kuwait. Additionally, over 20 awards were given to honorees in Gold, Silver, Bronze and Remarkable Growth categories.

“Our agency partners have performed extremely well, especially when promoting the new Etihad Airways cabins and product including The Residence,”

Etihad Airways General Manager in Kuwait Nabil Matarweh said. “We’re delighted to honor these partners on this occasion and look ahead to another successful 12 months in Kuwait.”

Attendees of the event, which took place in May in Kuwait City, included UAE Ambassador to Kuwait

Rahma Al Zaabi.

Etihad Airways is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and offers five flights daily between Kuwait and Abu Dhabi with connections to more than 100 destinations across the globe.

This year, the airline has begun operating flights to new destinations, including Kolkata, Madrid, Entebbe, Edinburgh and Hong Kong, from its Abu Dhabi hub.
