Eton Institute selected as finalist in 2015 Gulf Capital SME Awards

Gulf Capital SME Awards, a business recognition program organized by Gulf Capital and in partnership with MEED, has selected Eton Institute as one of the strongest entrants for the DHL People and Culture of the Year Award.

The program recognizes the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) top small and medium that contribute in the country’s economy and community and will take place on Oct. 28 at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina.

Eton Institute, an international language and professional development training provider, is set to present its portfolio to a panel on Sept. 26 for the second stage of the judging process.

According to MEED Gulf Capital SME finalists 2014 produced an average growth rate of 134 percent compared to 2013, indicating a robust performance of the small and medium-sized sector in the UAE. With more than 90 per cent of total SME businesses in the country, growth indications not only mean increased business activity and greater contribution to the UAE’s GDP, but also more job opportunities.

Gulf Capital SME Awards category’s are: Business Leader of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Innovation of the Year, RSA Customer Focus of the Year, Emirati Business of the Year, Gulf Capital Business of the Year, Start-up Business of the Year, Online Business of the Year, Sustainable Business of the Year and MasterCard Small Business of the Year.

Other categories are: Business Leader of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Innovation of the Year, RSA Customer Focus of the Year, Emirati Business of the Year, Gulf Capital Business of the Year, Start-up Business of the Year, Online Business of the Year, Sustainable Business of the Year and MasterCard Small Business of the Year.
