The board of Falcon
Technologies International (FTI) appointed Michael
Gutowski  to be the new CEO of the Ras Al-Khaimah-based optical media storage company.

Gutowski has served as CEO of Infodisc Technology in
Europe and played a key role in developing the brand into a leader within the
region. In addition, Gutowski offers more than two decades of experience in the
optical media industry.

Gutowski will replace interim CEO Pascal Bosse, who will move to a position with FTI board and executive committee to represent FTI’s largest shareholder, the Investment and Development Office (IDO), and to help create strategic plans for the company.

“FTI is a well-respected brand name, producing quality
products and with an excellent reputation within the optical digital media
sector,” Gutowski said. “I am confident that the strong foundation created by
the team in recent years can be built upon to increase FTI’s presence and
market share globally, and I very much look forward to leading such an exciting
challenge.”

Gutowski began his professional career with Deluxe Video Services and has held positions on the boards of Colonial Purchasing LLC and Mediatech.

“We are confident that under Michael’s leadership, FTI will
consolidate its position as the preferred supplier of high quality optical
media solutions which cater to the requirements of demanding professional
customers around the world,” Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of
the FTI board of directors, said.
