Italy’s Finmeccanica attended the Bahrain Air Show 2016 as one company for the first time.

Finmeccanica, a high technology industrial and aerospace business in Italy, is in the process of recognizing its groups. The company wants to focus its operations on defense, aerospace and security, and it sees the Gulf area as a good target for a strategic market. The company now has a new operating model and governance and has organized its divisions and sectors into separately controlled businesses.

The air show, which was held Jan. 21, exhibited the company’s helicopter division. There were also exhibits of Finmeccanica’s land and naval defense electronics, airborne and space system and security and information systems divisions.

The company has improved its ongoing growth in the helicopter sector by providing services as well as products for a variety of needs. Military and commercial customers use Finmeccanica helicopter products to conduct offshore transportation and for executive transportation, search and rescue missions, emergency medical services, naval missions and law enforcement.
