First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) concluded the fourth edition of its “Aftir” Ramadan campaign, supporting communities across the United Arab Emirates, according to a March 27 announcement.
The campaign has reached one million beneficiaries since its launch in 2023, providing support to families and individuals throughout all seven Emirates and Al Ain. FAB said this initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive engagement.
This year’s “Aftir” campaign focused on providing Iftar meals to households registered with official charities. FAB said this approach sets it apart from other Ramadan initiatives by targeting families rather than only individuals, aiming for structured and sustained support during the holy month.
The distribution was carried out in partnership with several registered charities and community organizations. Key partners included Zayed for Good in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Beit Al Khair Society in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, Sharjah Charity International in Sharjah, Al Etihad Charity Foundation in Ajman, and UAQ Charity Association in Umm Al Quwain. National entities such as the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Police, Department of Community Development, Emirates Foundation, Al Ain Club and Hazza bin Zayed Stadium also supported the campaign.
FAB said that through continued expansion of the “Aftir” Ramadan campaign it aims to reinforce long-term commitments to social responsibility and meaningful impact across the UAE.
