Fitness First Middle East, one of the the world’s leading health and fitness clubs, is partnering with Dubai Sports World, the biggest Emirati indoor summer sports venue.

The partnership aims to foster a culture of healthy and active living in the United Arab Emirates this summer; their program is scheduled from June 21 to August 29 in Dubai.

To that end, Fitness First will manage and operate the newly remodeled gym and fitness area. The expansive exercise area is the main component of the fully air-conditioned, 22,000-square-meter venue.

The gym will be free for anyone to take advantage of and will feature a cycling studio and a number of classes, including pilates, yoga, mixed martial arts and zumba, which will be held throughout the 10 weeks of summer operations.

Personal trainers will be available to the public for group or private sessions as well as for an intensive eight-week weight loss program.

“Our goal is to bring fitness into people’s lives, motivate them to perform beyond their own expectations and go further in life with the right balance of training, healthy eating and inspiration,” Fitness First Middle East COO George Flooks said.

Flooks said the services available are designed for both hardcore fitness enthusiasts and for beginners just starting to address health and body issues.
