With the opening of four new branches, Al Borg Medical Laboratories has expanded its number of labs to 30.

The new branches include the Alazizia District lab branch in Dammam, the Alshokih District branch lab in Makkah and the Onaizah branch lab, with the Albadia branch lab in Riyadh coming soon. These recently announced labs come in addition to the new facilities in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, growing the GCC region laboratories to 45.

“The opening of the new laboratories comes within the framework of the company’s expansion strategy and keen efforts, to widen our network in order to provide extensive and distinctive laboratory services in the GCC region, and to be as closer as possible to our customers, delivering the best quality lab testing service, as well as to fulfill the company’s strategic plan aimed at increasing the number of its laboratories throughout the GCC to support the health sector in the region,” Dr. Sameh Al-Sheikh, CEO of Al Borg Medical Laboratories, said.

Al-Sheikh also noted that the new facilities are a continuation of the company’s current network that provides top-quality services in accordance to local and global standards, which is possible through the highly skilled and thoroughly trained staff using the most innovative tools in the industry.

Al Borg Medical Laboratories, originated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1998, began as a limited liability company that was entirely Saudi owned. The company embodies the top chain of private laboratories in the GCC region as well as the Middle East, with many of those labs being accredited by local and global entities, like College of American Pathologists, Joint Commission international and ISO 15189.
