Free University of Brussels recently issued the following announcement.

Globalization, Europe, Multilateralism, since 2013 the books in the GEM series published by the Routledge publishing house compile the publications resulting from research carried out or coordinated at the Institute for European Studies (IEE). Today, the 20th edition is published.

Created in 2013 under the direction of Mario Telò and managed by Frederik Ponjaert, the GEM series published by the British publishing house Routledge, offers an interdisciplinary overview to better understand the institutions, norms and practices of governance linked to globalization. Each book in the series is peer-reviewed to ensure that it offers original research focusing on the effects of globalization, forms of regional and interregional governance, and the role played by the European Union.

Today the 20th volume in this English language series will be released. So far, the various contributions, from five continents and supported by a prestigious international editorial committee, have addressed, among others: globalization and the governance challenges associated with it, multilateral cooperation and the role of transnational networks, the impact of the new world powers, as well as the specific instruments that the EU mobilizes in its foreign policy and its external relations, etc.

All the works in this series are to be discovered now and during the year 2021.

The objective of these collaborations is to contribute to innovation in the fields of European integration, comparative regionalism and international studies.
