FREE UNIVERSITY OF BRUSSELS: The Solidarity ULB of Beirut: a call for donations in support of medical teams

Free University of Brussels issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.

Following the explosion at the port of Beirut, the ULB is mobilizing by launching an appeal for donations to support the medical teams of two Lebanese hospitals that are partners of the Fosfom-ULB program.

Faced with the urgency of the situation in Beirut, and its dramatic human toll, the ULB is committed by organizing a solidarity fundraising operation. The funds will support the medical teams of the Lebanese Hospital , the Faculty of Medicine of the Lebanese University, as well as those of the Saint George Hospital , of the Faculty of Medicine of the Balamand University. These two establishments are both long -standing partners of the Fosfom-ULB (Medical Training Support Fund) program, which will coordinate this solidarity operation.
