Friends of Doha College announced that this year has been
one of its most successful ever with more than $27,000 raised through the
Spring Fayre, shop sales and other local events.

Funds raised will go toward helping the physical
education department brand the kit for the BSME team in Bahrain. Additionally,
Friends of Doha College has given money to every primary class to order extra
resources for their classrooms. There are still some funds left over — the
organization will determine which ways it can best benefit the children
during the upcoming academic year.

Friends of Doha College noted that it is still collecting
donations of good-quality, clean secondhand uniforms.

The organization expressed gratitude for all who have
donated and helped throughout the past year. It announced that
it is always looking for more volunteers, and there are many ways to become
active, such as sitting on organizing committees or volunteering at an event.
