Geely Group leaps 67 spots on Fortune 500 list

Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely
Group) has jumped 67 places on the Fortune 500 company list to rank 410 this year, its fifth year in a row to make the list.

This year is the first time the Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car
Group sold more than 1 million units combined, selling 510,000 units and
503,000, respectively.

Car lovers in Oman have widely approved the Geely
vehicle lineup, which has been approved in accordance with the C-NCAP’s 5-star
safety standards. Towell Auto Centre (TAC) is the exclusive distributor of Geely
vehicles in Oman.

TAC has 11 showrooms, 10 parts outlets and 13 service
outlets throughout the sultanate and serves as the top vehicle distribution
source in Oman.

The Geely Auto Group continues to grow, documenting sales of 280,000 units in 2016, an 11 percent increase over the same time period from 2015. Volvo Car Group is experiencing the same success story, noting an increase in sales of more than 10 percent for the first part of 2016, selling 256,563 units.
