GOVERNMENT OF QATAR: Advisory Council Approves Draft Law on Non-Qatari Ownership of Real Estate

Government of Qatar issued the following announcement on June 26.

The Advisory Council on Monday held its regular weekly session under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud.

At the outset of the session, the Advisory Council discussed a draft law amending some provisions of law No.15 of 2002 on Civil Aviation, and decided to approve it and submit its recommendations to the government.

Moreover, the Council discussed a report of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee on a draft law regulating non-Qatari ownership and use of real estate.

After the discussion, the Council approved the three draft laws and decided to submit its recommendations to the government.
