Government of Qatar issued the following announcement on April 8.

A statistic by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) for last February unveiled a rise in the on-arrival visas granted to countries whose nationals can enter Qatar without any prior procedures, as compared to last January.

According to a statement issued by MoI, the total number of on-arrival visas issued in February has reached 72,110 and these were granted to nationals of 90 countries, thus, recording an increase of 2.7% as compared to last January.

The ministry said that the increase reflects Qatar’s position in the world and the convenient and easy services it provides to visitors and the security and stability it enjoys, in addition to its economic status and attractive labor market.

Besides, the General Directorate of Passports was able to complete 1,515,752 different transactions in February.
