Government of Qatar issued the following announcement on June 25.

Registration will start today in the Government Scholarship Program for the academic year 2018-2019, and the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has affirmed that the launch of the program, which comes in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), comes in line with the development Qatar has witnessed in education. It is also the result of the keenness of the entities concerned with education and employment to link the outcomes of education with the labor market needs, meet the needs of the government entities in terms of jobs, and contribute to filling them in through the different scientific specializations.

The ministry set general terms and other specific ones for joining the scholarships, with priority of approval on scholarships outside Qatar given to specializations that are unavailable in the educational institutions inside the country.

MADLSA has also demonstrated the scholarship specializations for 2018 and the steps of applying through the website of MADLSA and MOEHE, in order to find out about the specializations listed within the government scholarship plan for the academic year 2018-2019, as well as the details and procedures of registration in the program.
