The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) has announced that Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries Co. will be joining the 15th Industrialists’ Conference list of Platinum Sponsors.

The conference is set for the end of November and will be hosted in Kuwait. Attendees will focus on the topic of Foreign Direct Investment in the GCC and its impact on the region’s industries.

The 15th Industrialists’ Conference is a large combined effort from the GOIC — a knowledge-based institute helping develop regional industries — and numerous other partners including Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Authority for Industry and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.

The event is also coordinated with the Secretariat-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC).

Now, Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries, a Kuwaiti firm that specializes in manufacturing electrical cables and wires, joins the conference as a Platinum sponsor. The company’s standing as the Arab world’s largest firm in operating in cable and wire manufacture puts it in a strong position to sponsor the Industrialists’ Conference.

“This Conference will play a major role in drawing Foreign Direct Investments to GCC countries, hence contributing to the promotion of the economy in general, and the industrial sector in particular,” Bader Naser Al-Kharafi, an engineer and managing director at Gulf Cable, said.

The 15th Industrialists’ Conference will aim to form clear policies that draw in foreign investors and stimulate development in GCC countries from Nov. 25 to 26 at the Sheraton Hotel Kuwait.
