Gulf International Bank – Saudi Arabia (GIB) has been named the strategic partner for the 2025 PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers. The golf tournament, part of Riyadh Season 2025, is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 22 at Riyadh Golf Club. This event will serve as the season finale for the Asian Tour’s International Series and is expected to draw a strong lineup of both international and regional players.

The partnership between GIB and the PIF Saudi International has spanned several years. According to GIB, this continued involvement supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, particularly in advancing sports, tourism, and entertainment sectors within the country. Through its sponsorship of one of the region’s major golf tournaments, GIB aims to help elevate Saudi Arabia’s profile in global sports while also encouraging local talent development.

In addition to supporting the tournament itself, GIB is also sponsoring Faisal Salhab, a professional golfer from Saudi Arabia who is among five local players participating in this year’s event. The bank states that this move highlights its commitment to fostering national sporting talent and contributing to the growth of golf in Saudi Arabia.

Abdulaziz Al-Helaissi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gulf International Bank, said: “Our continued partnership with the PIF Saudi International and the sponsorship of Saudi professional golfer Faisal Salhab reflects GIB’s belief in the power of sport to inspire, connect, and drive positive impact. We are proud to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s growing success as a destination for world-class events while supporting the development of national sporting talent.”

The 2025 edition of PIF Saudi International will be held at Riyadh Golf Club—a venue recognized for its championship-standard course. The tournament is organized by Golf Saudi under Riyadh Season and WOW Festival banners. In addition to competitive golf featuring prominent names from around the world—including Joaquin Niemann as defending champion after his win in 2024—the event will include live music performances, culinary experiences, and cultural attractions designed to further establish Riyadh as an international hub for sports and entertainment.
