Gulf International Bank – Saudi Arabia has received the Gold Category of the Mowaamah Certification from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. This recognition highlights the bank’s efforts to foster an inclusive work environment for employees with disabilities.

The certification process involved a dedicated task force from several departments within Gulf International Bank – Saudi Arabia. The team worked on meeting the Mowaamah Programme’s standards, which include areas such as institutional commitment, employment practices, information technology, administrative communication, facilities accessibility, and human resources management. Their actions included improving accessibility in the workplace, enhancing support services, conducting needs assessments, launching awareness initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant criteria.

The Mowaamah Programme is a national initiative designed to help people with disabilities find suitable jobs and receive necessary support. It encourages organizations to adopt standards that promote empowerment and integration of persons with disabilities into society. The programme aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals to increase independence and participation of individuals with disabilities.
