Hollysys Automation Technologies Ltd. (Hollysys) recently announced
that its wholly owned subsidiary Concord Corporation Pte. Ltd. (Concord) has signed
a $62.3 million agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) to
provide services for the Doha Metro Phase 1 project.
Hollysys is a Chinese company that provides automation and
control technologies and applications. Its subsidiary, Concord, will deliver
engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning for part of the
Doha project’s Power Distribution System Package (PDS).
Doha’s metro project will be completed in two phases, the
first of which will be complete for operation by 2019 — with 37 stations and 75
kilometers. Concord will undertake work for the Gold, Blue and Green lines that
are part of the first phase.

proven track records and extensive working business relationship with MHI, which
secures the opportunity in participating the construction of the Qatar Metro
project,” a Hollysys representative said. “Winning this contract has set an
important milestone for the company’s future expansion plan in the Middle East
market. Hollysys will continue to accumulate brand name globally, expand
overseas market and create value for shareholders”
