Honeywell will roll out its latest high-tech gadgets as it joins other exhibitors this week at the Saudi
Health exhibit in Riyadh with products designed to simplify health care and
reduce errors.

At the expo, running Monday through Wednesday at the Riyadh International
Convention and Exhibition Center, Honeywell’s new Dolphin CT50h
mobile machine – an Android device that can scan bar codes to speed up hospital
admissions, relay pharmaceutical data and facilitate sample collection – will
make its Middle East premiere, the company announced. The equipment is capable
of providing vital sign measurements, call system integration, alarm management
and more.

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
nations are in a unique position to benefit from Honeywell’s newest technology,
company spokesman Mohamed Al Mousa said.

“As investment in health care infrastructure continues
to grow across the region, it is important that the right technology is in
place in hospitals to increase productivity levels, streamline operations and
achieve greater patient satisfaction and care,” Al Mousa, Honeywell’s
manager for Saudi Arabia, said. “Saudi Arabia is by far the GCC’s largest
health care market and Saudi Health is an important platform for us to meet with
health care professionals and share our ideas on what the future of healthcare
looks like.”

The Dolphin equipment is expected
to help Saudi hospital personnel become “connected clinicians” and improve
safety as well as administrative tasks by achieving faster response times, less
paperwork and ultimately better patient outcomes.
