Bahrain telecommunications equipment provider Huawei will send 20 executives and 16 employees to represent the company at the sixth annual Information and Communication Technology (ICT) conference, MEET ICT, and the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) in January.

“Exploring the latest developments in the ICT field through interaction with selected experts and speakers at the conference, seizing business opportunities and business transactions provided in the event and meeting first-grade decision makers, managers, executives and leaders of the ICT sector are all aims behind our participation,” Huawei-Bahrain Deputy Director Li Wei said.

ICT conference organizers are enthusiastic about Huawei’s participation, and Event Chairman Ahmed Al-Hujairi said Huawei’s presence brings “added value” to the event.

Huawei
representatives will be from a cross-section of the company’s areas of focus, and six representatives will be speaking at MEET ICT’s educational sessions.

They will discuss such topics as smart cities, network security and data storage.
