Cairo, Egypt, will serve as Huawei Consumer Business Group’s
first contact center city for customer support in the Middle East and North African area,
established with help from experienced multichannel outsource manager Teleperformance
Egypt.

The flagship location represents Huawei’s plan to grow its
market share in the region. The firm’s president for the North Africa area,
Bruce Fan, noted that Huawei currently delivers service to 11 Middle Eastern
and African nations — including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar,
Emirates, Oman, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

“Egypt has been chosen as a key hub to serve all
countries in the region,” Fan said. “This step affirms Huawei’s trust and
confidence in the Egyptian market and directly reflects on the group’s overall
strategy to expand its investments in Egypt and the region in the upcoming
period. It also conveys a positive message regarding the Egyptian economy and
its ability to attract more investments.”

Ren Sishu, who serves as Huawei’s contact center global director, emphasized the enterprise’s high quality of customer service, with
help available in Arabic, English and French and center hours available all
weekdays.

“We are glad to cooperate with a leading giant such as
Huawei,” Teleperformance Egypt CEO Giorgio Modesti said. “We at Teleperformance
are committed to appointing the best-in-class customer service … and the
befitting infrastructure to reinforce both our work and our partners’ work. The
accelerated growth of the industry is expected to double the employees working
in the telecommunication sector over the coming period.”

One of three business branches of Huawei Technologies
Co. Ltd., the company is based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. With goods distributed
in over 170 countries, Huawei Consumer BG serves one-third of the world’s
entire population.
