Ideas Arabia 2016 sheds light on workplace innovation

International and local experts gathered to discuss workplace innovation and happiness at the Ideas Arabia 11th International Conference, which was held this week.

Hosted by Dubai Quality Group (DQG), the two-day event touched on many topics, including how to create an innovation-friendly environment in the workplace, how to achieve a happy workplace, innovative approaches to coming up with ideas, how workplace innovation can lead to personal growth and engagement, and how to effectively implement a suggestion and rewarding scheme. The conference also announced the winners of the Ideas Arabia Competition 2016, in which employees and organizations were recognized for their ideas and contributions.

“DQG is committed to be the center of knowledge sharing for all topics related to Quality and Business Excellence,” DQG Chairman Fatma Al Mheri said. “It is our honor to host Ideas Arabia every year and provide attendees with valuable knowledge, tools and techniques to implement new and effective management theories within their own organizations.”

Among the speakers at the 2016 conference were Michael Allen, an idea management and engagement specialist; motivational speaker Scott Friedman; columnist Khalid Al Ameri; inspirational speaker Bob Hooey, who is known as the “Idea Man”; peak performance expert Anand Chulani; and Ideas America President Brenda Kelly.
