IHC, the internationally recognized integrated communications
agency, has brought on a talented associate director, Alexandra Williams, to assist the Dubai office
in expanding the company’s services and solutions.

Williams has extensive experience in traditional
and digital PR background. Her career began at Weber Shandwick in Kuala Lumpur,
where she controlled accounts for big names in the world of technology namely, Microsoft,
Google and Novotel. Williams then relocated to London where she managed the PR
and digital connections for companies like Lloyds Bank, HSBC, The Foreign and
Commonwealth Office, Coca-Cola and Skype while working for Grayling U.K.

“With a strong PR background and advanced digital
capability, IHC focuses on elevating brands through superior content,
integrated communication and creativity, so Alex’s appointment is a natural fit
for us,” Ian Hainey, managing director at IHC, said.

When Williams served as associate director for Grayling, the
firm was ranked as the top agency in the U.K. for digital PR by PR
Week Magazine
in 2011 and 2012. Her role served as an integral part in pushing
the firm to number one.

“Since inception, we have used a winning mixture of marketing techniques to maximize brand awareness and lead generation for clients,” Hainey said. “While traditional PR methods are often the foundation for success, it is largely complementary creative communication methods such as digital, social marketing and event practices which elevate our clients’ brands more effectively. Bringing Alex on board will definitely help our clients enjoy an even higher multiplier effect on their communications investment.”

Williams took the digital reins at DABO & CO when she moved
to Dubai in 2013. Williams had eight years of digital experience including PR,
digital, data analytics, crisis communications and strategy experience when she
took the position.

“I am delighted to be joining such a strong team at IHC and
am very much looking forward to exercising a multitude of marketing techniques
in my new role,” she said. “Ian and the team have strong brand names under
their belts. I am excited to expand on this.”
