Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC), the national platform for leadership excellence, welcomed Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani to address participants in its Rising Leaders Program at QLC’s Qatar Policy Seminar.

The minister discussed Qatar National Vision 2030, with special emphasis on the economic development of the state and the range of corresponding policies.

The lecture highlighted the progress of Qatar’s economy and the achievements made over the last few years that are apparent in the policies pursued by the state and aligned with local and external developments.

He also underlined the importance of stimulating and enhancing the private sector in Qatar, which is imperative to the development of the country. He also emphasized the value of building knowledge, outlining how Qatar is working toward a knowledge-based economy as an integral part of further creating long-term economic prosperity.
