Dubai’s International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS) recently partnered with academic solutions provider Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) to develop an academic platform in keeping with the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Vision 2021.

The new pre-studies program has been developed to coincide with the needs of UAE workplaces. Students in the program will glean a variety of skills, knowledge and hands-on experience to assist them in connecting with universities and employees.

A cornerstone of the program is foreign language; courses in English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Mandarin are already part of the curriculum.

The program has attracted laurels from the Associated Boards of the Royal School of Music, as well as the Emirates Literature Festival, American University of Sharjah Model United Nations Conference, Harvard Model Congress and the AMSI Championship.

Another major component of the curriculum is technology.

Input from ISAS teachers, students, parents and other consultants in the field will be sought as the program evolves.
