Ithraa (The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development), Oman’s inward investment and export development
agency, is hosting a three-day Invest in Oman Roadshow in Paris this week to strengthen trade and investment relationships.

Representatives from some of Oman’s most noteworthy and esteemed business
organizations, such as SEZAD, Oman Air, Oman Aquaculture Development Company and Oman Rail, will create the senior delegation.

“In addition to strengthening existing Oman-Franco trade and
investment ties, we have identified strong prospects in tourism, logistics, food
and beverage manufacturing and fisheries that we intend to home in on,” Ithraa Director General of Investment
Promotion

 Sayyid Faisal Al Said said.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with so many
important trade and investment stakeholders,” Al Said said. We are
in a marvelous position to boost awareness of Oman’s businesses and highlight the wealth of opportunities in key sectors in the
sultanate, he said.

Oman officials will rely on
infrastructural developments including Madinat Al Irfan, Oman Convention &
Exhibition Centre, Muscat International Airport, Al Mouj Muscat, Duqm Port and
Oman Rail to lure in new developers to the region.

“We have found on recent trade missions that European investors
are intrigued by the business story Oman has to tell,” Al Said said. “We have
the stability, infrastructure, opportunities, talent and logistics connections
French businesses are looking for. We are most definitely in an interesting and
strong position.”
