A new version of Kahramaa’s app for smart phones adds a number of features and services for customers.

Customers can record electricity and meter readings via the “self meter reading” option within the app. This works by entering the current meter reading and attaching a photo of the meter. The new option allows accurate meter reading and keeps track of the date of the most recent reading.

Kahramaa invites customers to register the app or update it via the Kahramaa website, km.qa. Registration and updating the app allow the company to text customers about monthly electricity and water usage and alert them when consumption seems above normal.

Kahramaa plans to update all of its services to make them more efficient and easy to understand.
