The Paris-based brand, Karl Lagerfeld, opened its first concept store in the Middle East this week in the Lagoona Mall in Doha, Qatar.

The 861-square-feet store’s grand opening launched the brand’s “ikonic and “kool” collections through the use of interactive stations hosted by the brand’s Japanese cosmetic collaborative, Shu Uemura. VIP guests were given samples of Shu Uemura’s limited edition Shupette collection of eyelashes and nail stickers after indulging in gourmet macaroons and cocktails.

The boutique’s interior decor reflects the brand’s themes of modern technology with a monochromatic black and white color scheme and integrated storewide customer iPads that feature the brand’s latest trends.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of the first Karl Lagerfeld store in the Middle East in Doha, Qatar,” Karl Lagerfeld CEO Pier Paolo Righi said.  “As we continue to develop our business on a global scale, the Middle East remains a central area of focus. Our new Doha store represents an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our iconic, cool and accessible luxe collections and represents an important step in, while further elevating and expanding our brand’s presence in the region.”

The store will feature Lagerfeld’s Karl Kolors Accessories Collection in Klassics and Kuilted, as well as eyewear, satchels and totes.
