The Kuwait Official Portal (KGO) now offers more than 280 eServices and 850 content services after a revamp from Diyar United Co.

Noted as a Kuwait-headquartered ICT specialist, Diyar United created and has maintained the Kuwait Government Online Portal since 2008. The portal allows citizens, business leaders, visitors and government agencies to electronically access many government services.

In addition to establishing and maintaining the eGovernment platform, Diyar United has also assisted the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) in developing national standards for usage of the services offered on the portal. The ICT specialist company also worked to inform and enforce compliance with the standards and regulations.

“This eGovernment platform shows that the modern and forward-thinking Kuwait Government has the best interests of individuals, government and businesses in the country top-of-mind,” Bashar Atout, CEO of Diyar United, said. “The platform itself brings together a fully-responsive design that is compatible with different platforms, and enhanced usability, which will enhance the reach and consumption of the available services on the platform.”

In 2008, when Diyar United first launched the Kuwait Government Online, only 40 eServices and 100 content services were offered. Diyar United is credited with building the eGovernment portal into what it is today with software development, managed services, infrastructure and support for the portal, which is designed to be a one-stop shop for multiple services needed by a variety of public and private entities.
