His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, presided over a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors on June 10, 2025. The session focused on reviewing ADNOC’s financial performance for the first quarter of 2025 and assessing its progress in various sectors.

The meeting highlighted ADNOC’s achievement in producing unconventional gas for the first time in Abu Dhabi through advanced technologies and international collaboration. Additionally, ADNOC introduced a new AI tool, MEERAi, aimed at enhancing executive decision-making processes across its operations.

His Highness emphasized that these developments strengthen ADNOC’s position as a global energy provider and contribute to meeting increasing energy demands while supporting UAE’s vision toward self-sufficiency. He also praised the integration of advanced technologies and AI solutions within ADNOC’s operations to improve efficiency and value creation.

Further discussions included domestic growth projects with three new production concessions awarded by the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs (SCFEA). His Highness was briefed on XRG’s plans to expand globally, aiming to establish a top-five integrated global gas business by 2035 and create a leading chemicals platform.

ADNOC’s participation in the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025 was noted, highlighting efforts to boost local manufacturing and support UAE National talent through strategic agreements. His Highness commended ADNOC’s role in developing future Emirati leaders aligned with evolving energy sector needs.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials including His Excellency Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; His Excellency Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak from Mubadala Investment Company; and His Excellency Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi from the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance.
