KQIC Insured, the premier insurer in Kuwait, recently launched a new electronic payment service and online service that allows
customers to log onto the website, select the desired coverage and pay through
KNET.

“As part of our ongoing improvements and adaptations to our
customers’ expectations and market demands, we are pleased to introduce the
option of paying for personal insurances online via KNET,” KQIC CEO Hassan
Al-Jaidah said.

“According to a BCG report, 75 percent of insurance purchases are
expected to be via online channels by 2020; and by adding KNET as a payment
option for our online portal www.qic-insured.com, we have made our personal
insurance products more accessible and payment options easier,” Al-Jaidah said.

Within the past 12 months KQIC Insured revamped its online insurance platform, allowing customers to view personal insurance offerings on a user-friendly outlet. The greatest benefit to consumers is they no longer need to visit a KQIC Insured branch to purchase insurance; they can simply log on to the website, scroll through the policies and choose the one that best fits their needs.

“Adding KNET as a payment option is part of a natural
progression and we’re happy to offer this additional convenience to our
customers,” Frederik Bisbjerg, executive vice president MENA Retail, said. “We
constantly strive to make being a customer with KQIC Insured as easy and
hassle-free as possible, from quote to claim, and this is yet another milestone
in our journey.”
