Kratos ISE has successfully finished the Critical Design Review
(CDR) for its Advanced Space Radio Monitoring System (ASRMS).

Kratos ISE is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. (KTOS),
a globally recognized provider of National Security Solutions. Kratos ISE
personnel assisted The Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Sultanate of Oman with
the review. With the accomplishment of a successful CDR, it is recognized that
the development of the design is approved for full-scale fabrication, assembly,
incorporation and analysis.

“The Kratos solution has been selected because of Kratos’
extensive experience in the arena of space radio monitoring systems,” Yousuf Al-Balushi, vice president for Spectrum Management Affairs for TRA, said. “The
SRMS will enable us to better manage the satellite spectrum used in the sultanate and provide for improved cooperation with other telecommunications regulatory
agencies.”

The TRA will receive the GeoMon system, which is equipped
with a new building and multiple earth stations covering L/C/KU/X/Ka frequency
bands, a mobile unit to study and analyze the capabilities for earth-to-space and
vice versa signals, as well as an airborne spectrum analyzing resolution.

“We are extremely pleased with the results of the CDR,” Bruno Dupas, president of Kratos ISE, said.
“Satellite spectrum is a national security asset that can be subject to
unauthorized usage, interference and other threats. The GeoMon solution will
allow TRA to monitor and geolocate satellite radio frequency transmissions with
operations automated for LEO and GEO satellites in all bands.”

For three decades, Kratos has acted as the top provider of satellite
control systems that worked to support commercial, government and defense
missions throughout five continents. The corporation offers fully equipped
segment solutions including C2, RF/IF equipment, satellite and terrestrial
communications signal monitoring systems, equipment and network management and
payload management solutions.
