Kuwait Finance House was a sponsor for the fifth Construction Industry Expo, which was held last month at the Jumeirah Kuwait Hotel.

The event brought together government agencies, industry experts and more than 70 participating companies, with interests in various parts of the construction trade.

Event officials said the expo, organized in part by the Minister for Housing Affairs, was an attempt to connect construction companies and workers with the latest development in construction — as a means of catalyzing further development in the Kuwaiti housing sector.

Kuwait Finance House was one of several government and finance industry partners that supported the event. Others included the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, the Public Authority for Industry, Housing Welfare, Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Electricity & Water and Kuwait Credit Bank.

Kuwait Finance House is a publicly traded company started in 1977 that provides Islamic banking services and products. It maintains more than 400 branches in Asia, Europe and the Middle East to service customers in Turkey, Jordan, Germany, Malaysia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The company’s stated goal is to become the most sustainable and profitable Islamic bank in the world.
