Kuwait Qatar Insurance Company issued the following announcement on March 18.

In line with the precautions advised by the State of Qatar to counter the spread of COVID-19, QIC Insured, the retail arm of QIC, the leading insurer in the MENA region encourages its customers to visit our website or download “QIC” mobile App to purchase personal insurances. Customers can simply log onto qic-insured.com, which offers a wide range of insurance products and services, namely, car insurance, home contents insurances, PAB insurances, Business Insurance, etc. and purchase the desired insurance from the comfort of their homes, at any time. In fact, QIC Insured’s online platform is equally equipped to manage all queries related to claims management, right from filing to tracking a claim. In the event of a claim, customers can also send the necessary documents to QIC Insured’s WhatsApp 5000 0742 or simply dial 8000 742 for further assistance.

While ensuring the continuity of its business operations, QIC Insured has taken necessary steps to safeguard the health and well-being of its customers, employees and the community at large.

Commenting on the measures taken Mr. Ahmed Al Jarboey, Senior Vice President MENA Retail & Motor at QIC Insured states, “QIC Insured is closely monitoring the situation and is taking necessary steps to support the measures prescribed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in limiting the spread of the COVID-19.
