Oil production is back to normal rates since the conclusion
of the oil industry strike, according to the oil sector spokesman, Talal Al-Sabah.

Normal production rates of an average of three million barrels
per day may take roughly three days to reach, Al-Sabah explained. In order to
protect the employees from any safety issues — as well as the facilities and oil
installations — it was necessary to pace the increase in production.

Al-Sabah also addressed the success of the emergency plan
that focused on KPC’s commitments to local areas, as well as the international
needs of oil products with no disruption. The plan also facilitated feed power
and water stations and the contractual agreements made to KPC’s clients. In
all, Kuwait’s image and reputation were maintained because of the success of
the plan.

It was highlighted that, during the strike, efforts were
taken to manage the most important industry within the state, as well as the national
economy backbone. Al-Sabah praised volunteers, workers, retirees and all who
aided in the positive outcome.
