Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) will host the second annual Maintenance Kuwait Summit, which runs from Feb. 7 to Feb. 10 in the city.
The conference will offer Kuwait companies insight into the best strategies and solutions related to maintenance.

Attendees will learn how to reduce the impact that maintenance has on operations, avoid emergency shutdowns, monitor the condition of equipment and reduce equipment downtime. They will also be informed of oil and gas projects occurring in the country, including KNPC’s new refinery project.

Compared to its inaugural summit, the event will feature more workshops, round table and panel discussions, product demos, case studies and regional and international speakers.

There will be many experts on-hand, including those in the areas of maintenance, engineering and operations, shutdown and turnaround and risk management. Among the companies that will be represented by speakers are the Kuwait Oil Company, Petrogas, Qatar Petroleum, Shell, Zakum Development Company, Petrochemical Industries Company, Petronas and Dolphin Energy. Attendees will be able to meet with VIP speakers at a special speakers’ lounge.

The Maintenance Kuwait Summit is organized by the International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), which has been hosting events for senior executives for over four decades.
