Land plots in the AKOYA Imagine golf community in Dubai recently started going on sale.

The most recent sales of the plots took place through Saturday in Tanzania.

Geared toward millennials, AKOYA Imagine features a cluster of villas surrounded by lush greens and fairways of an 18-hole championship golf course by Tiger Woods Design. The community was launched by real estate developer DAMAC Properties earlier this month.

“Investments in golf communities typically enjoy higher returns as supply in golf communities remains very limited,” DAMAC Properties Managing Director Ziad El Chaar said. “The golf course element elevates such communities, which are associated with luxury, providing a premium lifestyle where the community is healthier, due to the open, green spaces and fresh air, whilst still being in close proximity to the city.”

The AKOYA Imagine plots can be payed over a period of two years. Investors are provided with a detailed design and construction permit, as well as eight years to finish construction. They are able to begin construction after paying for half of the plot and have the ability to resell the plot after paying 20 percent.
