The Lulu Hypermarket in Al Ghubra, Oman, was the site of the inaugural Omani Products’ Exhibition.
The recent event was part of Origin Omani, a national campaign aimed at promoting local products. Those in attendance included Hilal bin Hamad Al Hasani, CEO of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE).

“We always aim at generating awareness on the Omani products through various platforms including exhibitions at the commercial centers,” Al Hasani said. “The Omani products today are enjoying excellent reputation marked by high quality and standards. These products are widely spreading locally, regionally and internationally, which encourage the local companies to further expand their production database and diversify their products.”

Mohamed Al Khusaibi was one of many attendees from the public who was impressed with the quality of the Omani products.

“I personally feel proud to witness the success of these products, not only in the local markets, but also in the international markets,” he said.
