M F Fasteners Ltd. announced Dec. 30 that it will earn a significant quality management certification.

ISO 9001: 2008 encompasses part of a suite of 19,500 international quality standards set forward by the International Organization for Standardization. Companies choose to pursue and establish their own policies and practices to meet these universal quality standards based on the demands of customers, employees and stakeholders.

The company earned its certification in partnership with Sterling International Consulting FZE. The management consulting organization works with clients in India, United Arab Emirates, U.K., U.S., Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Kuwait, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Africa and Europe. Sterling provides a variety of management services and specializes in consulting organizations on developing their practices to qualify for a range of ISO quality certifications.

M F Fasteners works with Maimoon Building & Construction Material Trading LLC, which makes ST/J/L-type anchor belts; grade 8.8 bolts and nuts; grade 10.9 bolts, nuts and washers; and ASTM-certified A490m bolts, nuts and washers from its base in Dubai. The company has contributed to more than 130 building projects in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Ghana and Angola.
