Malabar Gold & Diamonds, a jewelry retailer with 134 retail outlets throughout nine countries in its retail network, recently won Superbrand status for the third consecutive year.

Superbrands, the independent arbiter and authority of branding, made this announcement when it hosted the 11th annual Superbrands tribute event Monday at the Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Festival City. The recognition honors the UAE’s strong brands.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds provides customers with options for beautiful jewelry. Established in 1993, the retail chain’s goal is to deliver better services as excellence surpasses all else in the competitive world. Malabar uses customer-friendly policies, creative marketing strategies, warm and inviting showrooms, superior customer service, unique after-sales service, attractive prices, cutting-edge designs and unsurpassed grace.

“This is a great collective achievement for us and I take this opportunity to thank our customers, team members and investors without whose wholehearted support this remarkable feat would not have been possible,” Shamlal Ahamed, managing director of international operations, said.

Each country has a Superbrands Council that is made up of people with exceptional business aptitude. They all must have an impressive, thorough knowledge of the nation’s methods of business and markets.
