The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi was recently chosen by the Ahlan! Awards as the Best Shopping Mall in Abu Dhabi.

The Ahlan! Awards are an annual celebration of the country’s famous people and high-end businesses from restaurants and hotels to spas and malls. Residents of the United Arab Emirates cast more than 91,000 votes to choose the award winners this year, the highest number of votes ever recorded.

Based on the choice of voters, the Mall at World Trade Center was lauded as best in its field against numerous strong contenders in Abu Dhabi.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, the chief development officer at ALDAR Properties, said the company is excited to win the honor in the face of stiff competition from the numerous high-end outlets in the Emirate.

“This would not have been possible without the constant hard work of The Mall at World Trade Center team and tenants, and we thank our loyal customers for voting for us,” Al Dhiyebi said. “The Mall has become a meeting point in the heart of the capital for the community and tourists alike, where they can live, work, be entertained, shop or dine.”

The mall is a modern shopping destination catering to diverse fashion and food patrons. It has a stable of international brands, as well as a traditional souk. The facilities feature beautiful terraces and rooftop gardens, 160 stores, 20 dining options and two central atriums. The mall also provides plenty of underground parking, as well as valet services.
