Manama Dialogue will be a great
opportunity for dignitaries and regional leaders to come together and create a
strategic plan on how to handle threats within the region, create a reaction
plan for crisis situations and share ideas on how to grow the region economically
and socially.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration
with the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Dec. 9-11. Minister
of Foreign Affairs Khalid Al Khalifa confirmed this is the 12th session for the Manama Dialogue, and reiterated the kingdom of Bahrain’s interest in continuing to host the event.

The minister noted that the kingdom’s eagerness to host the dialogue is in accordance with its policy to
develop relations with different countries from around the world, based on the
mutual respect given from other countries. The kingdom is also interested in
supporting regional and global efforts to create unity and peace through
promoting economic growth and social development of those living within the
region.

The
Manama Dialogue is the idea setting for participants to expand possible
collaborations with other countries to better both regions’ economies, reduce
conflict and form long-lasting solutions that decrease tension in many parts
of the world, according to Al Khalifa.

The ultimate goal is to have peace
across the globe, allowing residents to live peacefully and develop socially,
creating stronger futures for the next generations.
