Masraf Al Rayan concludes open employment day in partnership with Ministry of Labour

Masraf Al Rayan has concluded its “Open Employment Day,” held in partnership with the Ministry of Labour on October 6. The event attracted a significant number of Qatari students and graduates, as well as children of Qatari women, reflecting efforts to localize jobs and support sustainable economic growth in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

High-level representatives from both Masraf Al Rayan and the Ministry of Labour attended the initiative, which is part of ongoing joint programs aimed at translating national goals into practical opportunities. The collaboration focuses on increasing citizen participation in the labor market and creating career paths in the financial sector, aligning with the country’s third National Development Strategy.

Mohammed Juma Al-Kuwari, Assistant Director of National Workforce Employment at the Ministry of Labour, said: “The interaction of job seekers among citizens and children of Qatari women at Masraf Al Rayan’s Open Employment Day reflects the ambition of national talents and demonstrates effective coordination between government agencies and private sector institutions.”

Al-Kuwari added that such events are consistent with the national development strategy, especially regarding building an efficient workforce with high productivity. He noted that these initiatives help accelerate the participation rate of nationals in the private sector and equip them with skills needed to contribute to a diversified knowledge-based economy.

Commenting on the initiative’s success, Omar Al Emadi, Acting Group CEO at Masraf Al Rayan, stated: “Our partnership with the Ministry of Labour reflects our firm commitment to supporting state strategic priorities. The remarkable turnout for Open Employment Day demonstrates Qatari talent’s readiness to lead banking’s future confidently. Hamad Al Kubaisi, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Masraf Al Rayan, said: “Our aim is not limited to employment but also focuses on building national leaders capable of shaping the future. Our training programs and specialized leadership tracks are designed specifically to empower Qatari talents for strategic roles within the bank.”

He added: “The strong engagement witnessed during Open Employment Day reflects young Qataris’ ambition and readiness for responsibility as they embark on their careers. We succeeded in linking these ambitions with real opportunities by accelerating promising talents’ transition into evaluation and development stages through integrated programs designed to develop future skills compatible with digital transformation needs.”

Fawzia Al Ansari, Assistant General Manager – Human Resources at Masraf Al Rayan explained: “Through this career day we reaffirm our commitment to supporting national talent by providing promising opportunities for young Qataris across all bank sectors. Organizing this event highlights our dedication to attracting and developing national talent through specialized training programs aligned with our strategy and Qatar’s localization vision. We provided detailed explanations about various career paths within both business divisions and support sectors. Candidate selection will be based on strong confidence in their abilities; new hires will benefit from distinguished recruitment processes and comprehensive development programs that enhance performance and support professional growth.”

The bank emphasizes its social responsibility by nurturing Qatari talent, offering rewarding opportunities, empowering future banking leaders, and ensuring nationals do not only enter but excel within the financial sector.

Masraf Al Rayan thanked the Ministry of Labour for its continued support for localization programs.
