Medcare recently opened its first clinic in Sharjah, the first multi-specialty clinic of its kind in the area.

Medcare, the premium primary care provider of Aster DM Healthcare, said the clinic’s opening will provide more employment opportunities for health care professionals as well as giving residents another source of medical care.

In addition to the new Medcare clinic, Sharjah is home to two hospitals, six clinics and five specialty centers, as well as the dedicated Medcare Women and Children’s Hospital and IVF facility.

“Thanks to the government of Sharjah, Medcare is now able to serve the residents of the emirate and be assured of our quality delivery,” Medcare Hospital CEO

Ala Atari said. “There is also a growing opportunity for us to reach out to different emirates and provide the premium primary care we are known for. At Medcare, we will continue to be where we are needed and provide patients with a one-stop-shop medical center with their care needs under one roof. We are excited to see more of our clinics and specialty centers to be within the community’s reach.”

The state-of-the-art clinic is at the Al Jawhar Building on Al Taawun Street. The 12,000-square-foot facility hosts a staff of multinational medical experts. Community members of the northern emirates are welcome to visit the clinic or book an appointment for the most innovative and complete care covering family medicine, internal medicine, ENT, pediatrics, OB/GYN, dermatology, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, diet and nutrition, pulmonology, dentistry, gastrointestinal, cardiology, endoscopy and physiotherapy.

The clinic also has its own X-ray, laboratory and pharmacy.

“The health care landscape in the region is fast changing, along with a growing demand for health care within the UAE community,”

Alisha Moopen, executive director and group CEO of Hospitals and Clinics for Aster DM Healthcare, said. “As Medcare continues to grow, we are also obliged to raise the standard of quality for our patients who expect nothing but the best. Hence, our commitment to provide the highest quality of medical care is unwavering and to be able to do this, we at Aster DM Healthcare believe in investing not just in our facilities but in our staff as well. We are excited for the future of Medcare as we expand our reach in the UAE.”
