The Middle East Investor Relations Society (MEIRS) has chosen the international digital communications and investor relations (IR) firm Investis as the year’s corporate website partner, as well as an Advisor member to the society.

The goal for the partnership between Investis and MEIRS — a nonprofit society that provides a platform for the region’s IR professionals and listed companies to share knowledge, exchange ideas and network — is encourage companies to use best practice standards in digital corporate and IR communications.

As the Middle East is increasingly integrated into global markets, it’s important for the region’s companies to build up a strong digital presence. MEIRS takes the position that a sound digital strategy is an important tool for attracting attention from the international and regional investor community.

Fanny Modin, a MEIRS board member, said the organization’s strategy is to build a community of IR professionals across the region.

“Partnerships with advisor members specialized in various fields of IR enhance our membership offering as we are able to provide access to industry experts and service providers via our community,” Modin said. “Investis is a global digital IR company with a strong international track record and we are confident that they will add value to our membership base.”

As the MEIRS corporate website partner, Investis has developed the organization’s official website, as well as a smaller site for MEIRS’ upcoming Annual Investor Relations Conference.

As advisory members, Investis will work with MEIRS to provide its members with up-to-date industry best practice and trends, educational sessions and workshops, and provide advisory and solutions on everything digital.
